South Dakota has fourteen farm wineries.
 The South Dakota Farm Winery legislation was signed into law in 1996. In 2008 there are 14 SD Farm Wineries.  Continuing development of fruit producers and wineries is contributing to rural development and agritourism in South Dakota.  According to the 2007 Ag Census, there are now over 60 vineyards, on over 150 acres in SD.
South Dakota Vineyard Work Calendar
 This calendar will be especially useful for new growers who need to know what tasks will need to be done when, but may also serve as a reminder to established growers as well.
